Josh Miller - "SCAMP": :Behavior mod

Scamp was reactive to cars, dogs and people. He’s come really far after just 4 sessions.

He was hit by a car when he was younger, making walks impossible as he would dart either in or away from the road anytime a car passes.

We have taught him that looking to his owner is the most rewarding aspect of the environment and making his hyper vigilant need-to-know what’s going on around him lessen and help him relax.

Emmy Egbert - Hannah and Fig: Behavior mod and SDIT

Kirsty has been such a lifesaver for both of my dogs.
when I first started my training journey with my first dog, Hannah, I got stuck with some bad advice. Finding Koda’s classroom was truly a breath of fresh air.
Kirsty never once judged me for past training techniques, and instead showed so much love for not only my dogs, but for me.
Both of my dogs adore training with her, and even my reactive one looks froward to being around her as she knows it’s a safe place. I always put Kirsty in my dogs top three favorite things.
Her incredible service/demo dog, Higgs, is one of the few dogs Hannah enjoys being around. From going on public access outtings with both of my dogs, including my current Service Dog Figment, to pack walks and hikes, he’s a dog I can trust to be around my dogs and help them learn how to be confident and do big things!

I would not be the person I am today without the compassion and care Kirsty has shown through her training, and will recommend her to the end of time.

Jen Price - Elizabeth: Intermediate Obedience

I’ve been working with Kirsty and Koda’s Classroom for two years since my dog was a puppy and appreciate how much care and attention she puts in.

My dog Elizabeth loves every session, especially when her BFF Higgs comes along and they get to train and play together!

Kirsty and Higgs have enabled Elizabeth to grow her confidence, learn new skills, and become such a well behaved (energetic) girl. I trust Kirsty and know that she will always create a safe environment for Elizabeth.

I feel 100% confident in the care Elizabeth receives any time Kirsty is around and she’s one of the few people I trust to board my girl when I have to go out of town.

The daily videos of Elizabeth’s morning play time and afternoon walks with Higgs are always a highlight!

Erica Bourgeous - "Ford": SDIT (service dog in training)

My service dog in training and I have been working with Kirsty since may 2021! Wow! We have become such an amazing team because of the training and education Kirsty has offered us. We’ve been able to accomplish public access with so much confidence.

I would absolutely recommend Koda’s Classroom for anyone needing help with service dog training. She is an amazing teacher and an amazing person!

sTACY nISH - "NORA": BASIC OBEDIENCE

Kirsty is so good with my dogs!

I have loved watching her turn my mischievous “poky” little puppy into a sweet, cuddly obedient young lady.

Kirsty has a special talent of getting dogs to listen, understand and respect her while respecting them in return.

I completely trust Kirsty with my two pit bulls and would trust her with any of my dogs in the future.

Brian Cruz - "Kai": puppy confidence

We absolutely loved Kirsty and Emily for our big fraidy pup. By the end of the first session, our pup was more confident and we were off to a great start. With each session our pup was gaining more and more confidence.

Kirsty listened and helped with all of our concerns and tailored each training session to meet our pups needs. Every session was fun and exciting.

Miscia Starrs - "Beesley and Scarlett": behavior mod

If you are in need of a dog trainer! Koda’s Classroom is where you need to go!!!!

Kirsty doesn’t just train your dog, she works with you as the owner to understand!!! She works with my dogs and they love her!!!!!

I only want the best for my dogs, and she is THE BEST!!!!

Lex Travis - "Blue": basic, intermediate obedience, reactivity

Kirsty has been an amazing trainer. She’s helped me understand my dog better than I ever could have on my own.

She’s kind and speaks dog! Not kidding, Blue listens better to Kirsty sometimes than she does for me, but there’s always so much excitement in my pup’s eyes when she’s working with Kirsty.

She advocates for dogs in all situations and is constantly learning new techniques to bring into her training programs. I would 100% recommend Kirsty as a trainer!

Jen Miller - "Bucky": reactivity

At just 5 months old my pandemic puppy was having some major reactive episodes with strangers. Bucky would bark for 20-30 minutes when anyone came to the house and I could hardly take him on walks cause as soon as he saw a stranger he would flip and we’d have to go home.

Between 6-7 months we started kodas classroom with Kirsty. She helped teach me his communication cues I had been missing and how to communicate and encourage him in a positive way that builds our relationship daily. She never judged me for what I didnt know and instead empowered me to take control and help bucky feel secure and confident!

Bucky now brings strangers his favorite ball, asks kids for pets, and has manners out in public! We love kodas classroom!

Holly Arnold- "Bean": basic obedience

I absolutely love Kirsty! She is so knowledgeable.

After considering many trainers she is the only one I will ever go to for my Bean. She knows what she is doing and helps build the trust between you and your dog to become the best duo you can be.

Thank you so much for helping my patience and teach me th be the best dog owner and my boy to be the best he can be too.

Amy Bohrer - "Willow": reactivity

Kirsty has done wonders with our 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd.

We have had other trainers and we just didn’t seem to be moving forward.

Once Kirsty started coming, our dog has improved in her attention while on walks.

We finally were able to have family come visit and they even brought their dogs. Kirsty has been a lifesaver!
